Another story goes that the curator (Harry Raven) went to see Meshie in the zoo near the end of her life, after she&#039;d been put in isolation for everyone&#039;s safety. Demanding that the keeper let him enter the cage, Raven walked in boldly ... and Meshie leapt into his arms, crying actual tears.</description>
